History

Acid Tech Services was founded by an industry veteran in April of 2014 when oil and natural gas markets were at their peak. Like many other companies operating in the Permian Basin region of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, challenging times were ahead. But Acid Tech was fortified with an experienced management team that guided the company through a difficult commodity price cycle.

Since then, the Midland-based service provider has emerged as a leader in acidizing and toe prep services, delivering value to customers through an expert staff and state-of-the-art equipment.

Management

Acid Tech Services founder and owner Phillip Lawson is a petroleum engineer who has been active in the Permian Basin for more than 30 years, including more than 20 years as principal owner of Midland-based B&L Equipment. A 1980 graduate of the West Virginia University, Lawson has spent his career in the Permian Basin, serving throughout the West Texas and Southeast New Mexico region. His customers include many of the industry’s largest producers.

Safety

Acid Tech has a best-in-class safety and environmental program that meets the highest standards set by our largest E&P customers. We are proud of our record of performance because it reflects the character of our company, and it aligns with the value we place in our people and our community. Our primary objective is for Acid Tech employees to perform their jobs safely so they can return home to their families at the end of each day. If an operation cannot be done in a way that is safe and environmentally sustainable, it is not worth doing.
